Design Concept: “Moon as a Mirror of Time”
Inspired by a Persian proverb that likens the moon to a mirror of time, lead designer Li Min of ANDING DESIGN conceptualized the Miform Fuzhou Whole Woodwork Exhibition Hall around the metaphor of the moon. Its soft, profound glow serves as a guiding element, leading visitors into a realm that transcends the ordinary and touches the depths of the soul. The design seeks a delicate balance between strength and grace, echoing the moon’s fragility and permanence, which is essential in luxury interior design.
Architectural Features and Spatial Planning
The facade design artfully manipulates architectural blocks through a process of intersection and reorganization, skillfully introducing natural light from the entrance. As the space unfolds, natural materials and the subtle shifting of scales create a captivating interplay of light and shadow. Light filters through the gaps and intervals of the meticulously planned space, creating a serene ambiance reminiscent of traditional Chinese aesthetics. This design approach aligns with minimalist geometric forms often employed in luxury interior design.
Immersive Experience and Brand Identity
The exhibition hall breaks away from the conventional boundaries of product displays, emphasizing a sensory experience. Visitors are invited to engage with the brand through the interplay of light and shadow, the tactile qualities of materials, and the resonating sounds. This immersive environment blurs the line between observer and brand, showcasing the beauty of Italian-style woodwork in a luxurious setting. This approach is a hallmark of modern luxury interior design, prioritizing experience over simple display.
Aesthetic and Cultural Significance
The design team prioritized creating a space that is rich in poetic expression and depth of meaning, going beyond mere functionality to embrace a spiritual dimension. The minimalist geometric forms, combined with elegant lines, reflect a contemporary aesthetic sensibility, a core principle of luxury interior design. The space is imbued with the essence of Italian living, meticulously crafted to resemble a miniature villa. Each corner evokes a sense of refined, luxurious living, inviting visitors to embark on an elegant journey through time and Italian craftsmanship.
