Embracing the Live Streaming Boom in Hangzhou

Hangzhou, renowned as China’s e-commerce capital, thrives on the energy of the live streaming industry. Vision Future, a leading player in this dynamic field, leverages “instant power” and “youth power” to fuel its growth, embracing innovative strategies like celebrity endorsements and cross-industry collaborations. As the company expanded and integrated its operations, it sought a new office headquarters that would reflect its brand identity and appeal to its young workforce. Yizhan Design, led by principal designer Xiao Yizhan, was entrusted with the task of creating a space that embodied Vision Future’s brand DNA and resonated with the spirit of the times.

Color-Inspired Design for a Young and Energetic Workforce

With an average employee age of just 22.9 years, Vision Future’s workforce reflects the youthful demographics of the live streaming industry. Understanding the needs and preferences of Generation Z, Yizhan Design adopted a minimalist approach, crafting a vibrant and stimulating environment where employees could thrive. The design team incorporated bold colors, particularly red and green, to inspire creativity and energy. These colors are strategically used throughout the office, creating a dynamic and visually engaging atmosphere.

Creating a Utopia for Generation Z

Departing from traditional office layouts, Vision Future envisioned a space that transcended the boundaries of work, incorporating elements of life and social interaction. Inspired by the founder’s artistic background and aesthetic vision, Yizhan Design transformed the headquarters into a utopian youth community, fostering creativity and collaboration. Open floor plans and strategically designed grey spaces encouraged spontaneous interactions and content creation, empowering every individual to become a participant in Vision Future’s growth.

Dynamic and Flexible Spaces for Collaboration and Socialization

Recognizing that creativity flourishes in relaxed and informal settings, Yizhan Design seamlessly integrated meeting and discussion areas, fostering a sense of openness and comfort. Soft, bright yellow-green hues create a welcoming ambiance, promoting a sense of belonging and encouraging communication among colleagues. The central atrium, a hub for reception, coffee breaks, and social gatherings, is infused with varying shades of green, creating a visually stimulating environment. The cantilevered staircase adds a touch of lightness and dynamism, drawing the eye upward and creating a sense of flow.

Embracing Fashion and the Digital Age

As a creative enterprise driven by live streaming e-commerce, Vision Future’s success is intertwined with its understanding of fashion trends and the ever-evolving digital landscape. The second-floor public area showcases this connection, blending art and stage elements with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Tiered seating modules create a dynamic space for presentations and events, while a mirrored ceiling expands the perceived volume and enhances the visual impact of the full-wall LED screen. The central T-shaped stage transforms the office into a fashion show venue, blurring the lines between work and entertainment, reflecting Vision Future’s rebellious and avant-garde spirit.

The design of Vision Future’s headquarters reflects the dynamism of the live streaming industry and the company’s aspirations for the future. The suspended metal spheres, combined with ever-changing lighting patterns, create a captivating atmosphere, symbolizing the company’s commitment to innovation and its vision for a bright future. The carefully curated design elements, from the vibrant color palette to the flexible workspaces, cater to the needs of a young and creative workforce, fostering a sense of community and encouraging collaboration. Yizhan Design’s work on the Vision Future headquarters exemplifies a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality, creating a space that inspires and empowers, a testament to the transformative power of design in shaping the future of work.
