Inspired by their rural upbringing, travels to Los Angeles and Scandinavia, and appreciation for architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, they sought a minimalist home that blended seamlessly with its natural surroundings.
Design Concept and Goals
The design concept of the ANSWER Residence revolves around simplicity, functionality, and the integration of nature. FF DESIGN aimed to create a space that promotes a “three-self life” philosophy – natural, free, and comfortable. This is achieved through a minimalist aesthetic, the use of natural materials, and the creation of seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Layout and Spatial Planning
The residence features a minimalist interior with open living areas that maximize natural light and views. The layout prioritizes functionality and efficient storage, reflecting the owners’ commitment to a clutter-free lifestyle.
