Embracing the Metaverse: A Showroom Inspired by Virtual Worlds
A Quick Buck, a prominent brand in the fashion industry, sought to create a unique and memorable retail experience that would reflect its distinctive brand identity. The design brief for the 150-square-meter showroom in Moscow, Russia, emphasized the need for a modern and impactful space that would showcase the brand’s forward-thinking approach. AR Architects embraced the challenge, drawing inspiration from the burgeoning metaverse concept to create a showroom that blurs the lines between the physical and digital worlds.
Branding and Color Palette: A Fusion of Brand Identity and Neutral Tones
The design of the A Quick Buck Showroom is deeply rooted in the brand’s distinctive style and signature products. Bold visual concepts are used throughout the space to accurately convey the brand’s core values. The neutral gray color of the showroom’s interior serves as a sophisticated backdrop, allowing the brand’s iconic pink hue to stand out prominently. This carefully curated color palette creates a harmonious visual balance, amplifying the impact of the brand’s signature color and ensuring that it becomes a focal point within the showroom.
Interactive Digital Elements: LED Cube and Screens as Focal Points
The centerpiece of the main hall is a large LED cube equipped with interactive screens. This innovative design element evokes the ever-expanding metaverse, adding another layer to the unique visual ambiance of the showroom. The LED cube displays the brand’s latest fashion collections and also plays abstract video installations, providing visitors with an original perspective on the world of fashion. It serves as a dynamic and engaging focal point, captivating visitors’ attention and immersing them in the brand’s creative vision.
Immersive Faux Fur and Unique Fitting Rooms: A Sensory and Instagrammable Experience
AR Architects incorporated faux fur elements into the showroom’s design, adding a touch of comfort and luxury to the space. The fitting rooms, in particular, are designed as unique and memorable spaces. Each fitting room is lined with plush faux fur in distinctive colors such as pink, blue, yellow, and green. These vibrant and tactile spaces provide an immersive sensory experience for visitors and also serve as ideal spots for taking photos. Shoppers can capture their individual style against the backdrop of these stunning and Instagrammable environments.
Maximizing Space and Incorporating Brand Elements: Mirrors and Logo Integration
To visually enlarge the showroom, stainless steel archways with mirrors are strategically placed throughout the space. The coffee area features a mirror that cleverly expands the perceived space, creating a sense of openness and flow. The designers also integrated the brand’s logo into various elements of the interior, including the flooring, walls, ceiling, and even furniture. This omnipresent branding reinforces the brand’s identity and creates a cohesive visual narrative throughout the showroom.
Unique Patterns and Material Choices: Stainless Steel Accents and Patterned Elements
Various elements within the showroom feature a distinctive pattern, adding a layer of visual interest and detail. The washbasins in the bathroom, the stainless steel in the central area, and the radiator grilles all showcase this unique pattern, creating a sense of visual cohesion. The choice of stainless steel for these elements not only adds a touch of modernity but also complements the overall aesthetic of the showroom, enhancing its contemporary and stylish ambiance.
