Embracing the Essence of Wood
The Der·1863 Brand Pavilion masterfully utilizes the concept of a “primeval forest” to deepen its design language. The theme “Exploring the Light of Art” subtly underscores the brand’s commercial aspect. The design seeks to express the inherent beauty of wood and its connection to nature, reflecting the brand’s core value of artistic refinement. The pavilion’s structure evokes the natural forms of wood through sliced and reshaped sections, with curved lines reminiscent of tree rings embracing the beauty of modern architecture. This symbolizes a harmonious blend of culture, emotion, and nature, reflecting the brand’s global presence and commitment to aesthetic exploration. Visitors are initially greeted with a minimalist black and white interface, with intersecting blocks creating a sense of refined ceremony, visually enticing exploration. The pavilion’s design showcases the artistic essence of wood, extracting its natural patterns and transforming them into an artificial yet harmonious beauty, a grand architectural container with meticulous detailing.
A Journey Through Time and Space
The pavilion’s artistic metaphors guide visitors on a journey through time and space. Time is an intrinsic element of art, and the pavilion embodies the spirit of modern art by defying conventions. The entrance to this passage is inspired by a timeline, offering a unique experience that blurs the lines between brand identity and artistic expression. Following a guiding beam of light, visitors traverse a simulated forest, with the crunch of materials underfoot symbolizing the passage of time and the fusion of nature and art.
Harmony of Home and Nature
Deeper within the pavilion, visitors enter a realm of harmonious integration. Towering black wooden pillars exude a mysterious vitality, their rings chronicling the passage of time. The space embodies both nature and home, creating a sanctuary where visitors can connect with the natural world. The interplay of light and shadow through the forest of pillars evokes an ethereal and yet tangible atmosphere, symbolizing the ideal of home and the unity of humans, architecture, and nature. The pavilion also showcases diverse home aesthetics through various scenes that depict life’s richness, such as vibrant mornings and tranquil sunsets.
A Multifaceted Narrative of Wood
The pavilion seamlessly blends the abstract and the concrete, using wood as a medium to create an immersive environment and showcase the brand’s contemporary art. The continuous sequence of spaces creates a holistic artistic expression of wood aesthetics. Through product displays, textual narratives, and the application of wood textures, the Der·1863 brand’s story unfolds in a multifaceted way. The artistic ambience enhances the brand’s value proposition, creating a matrix of experiences that resonate with visitors.
