Design Concept and Objectives
For the 2023 Guangzhou Design Week exhibition, INS Design proposed the concept of “H-Space”, emphasizing the “H” brand symbol. It leverages the context of HEGII’s product offerings and draws inspiration from traditional Chinese culture rooted in nature. Spatial Layout and Functionality
The H-Space design integrates a harmonious interplay of contrasting elements – light and shadow, squares and circles, sharp and blunt, movement and stillness – to create a cohesive and unified spatial narrative. The design team visited HEGII’s factory to understand its production process and learn about its environmentally friendly concepts. Inspired by the factory’s green initiatives, H-Space incorporates a miniature replica of HEGII’s water treatment system, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable practices. The space employs white as its base palette, a canvas for the integration of carefully curated elements that accentuate the brand’s aesthetic.
