This 70-square-meter apartment in Hong Kong, designed for two young artists, embraces the design concept of “nature, unity, unfinished. The interior design and space are redefined with an unfinished style, creating a simple, clean, and natural feeling. The quiet and elegant space emphasizes the relationship between layers and details, while the unfinished concrete surface treatment enhances the artistic structure, interpreting the meaning of “less is more”.

This 70-square-meter apartment in Hong Kong, designed for two young artists, embraces the design concept of “nature, unity, unfinished”. The interior design and space are redefined with an unfinished style, creating a simple, clean, and natural feeling. The quiet and elegant space emphasizes the relationship between layers and details, while the unfinished concrete surface treatment enhances the artistic structure, interpreting the meaning of “less is more”.

The living area features a large, clean, and multifunctional wood-textured wall. The storage room and kitchen are hidden behind two sliding doors. Horizontal wooden strips are used for decoration, while vertical wooden strips are used to divide the area and serve as door handles. A house-shaped wooden frame for the dining area, composed of simple wooden strips, separates the area while maintaining the openness of the space.

The simple, clean, and relaxed master bedroom features a sloping roof on one side, finished with concrete paint to conceal the ceiling beams. The double-layered, wood-textured platform bed aligns with the window, creating subtle storage space. The guest bedroom has an optimized structure and a stylish design. Since Hong Kong residents often believe that living under structural beams affects feng shui, many design projects now maintain a clean ceiling. However, it remains to be seen whether this is overly idealized.
The corner bathroom feels like a different area. When entering the bathroom to wash your hands, the floor tiles and semi-high walls in this clean space are interesting and look like folded paper.
