Located in the Yabuli ski resort in Northeast China, the Yabuli Entrepreneur Forum Permanent Site is the result of a collaboration between MAD Architects and the China Entrepreneur Forum (CEF). Designed to be a cultural landmark for entrepreneurship, the site is a testament to the collective spirit of China’s entrepreneurial class, serving as a gathering place for business leaders, and a symbol of their commitment to the future of China’s economy.
The building’s design draws inspiration from the surrounding snow-capped mountains, with its white roof mirroring the snowscape. The building’s unique shape, reminiscent of a large tent, is meant to evoke a sense of intimacy and shared purpose, with its glass skylight allowing natural light to flood the interior, creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. The interior features a warm and inviting wood-paneled design, emphasizing a sense of natural connection.
The Yabuli Entrepreneur Forum Permanent Site is more than just a meeting place for business leaders. It also houses a museum, conference rooms, and a broadcasting studio. The museum will showcase the history of entrepreneurship in China, while the other spaces are designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
